Tong Christian fellowship is a registered charity, located in the Island of Lewis and with a base in Romania.  We are involved in church planting, and the supply of food aid and clothing to the Romanian Gypsies.

Our fellowship may be small but by the Glory of God has achieved much over the last ten years, thanks in no small part to the people who have so generously donated to our work.

The main reason for this appeal is to try and raise funds for a Minibus. We currently have a minibus based in Romania and due to current legislation in that country it has to return to the U.K. each year to have an M.O.T. test renewed, we are not allowed to export it permanently as it is right hand drive, and more than five years old this adds an extra burden of around £1000.00 per annum to the fellowship in transportation costs, (which could otherwise be spent on other projects in Romania).

In order to prevent these costs we are hoping to be able to purchase a new or nearly new left hand drive vehicle that could be permanently exported, and need not return to the U.K. every year.

Any financial support for this and any of our projects in Romania would be greatly received.
